What's So Special About
Our Soils
Our two vineyards have similar yet different soil compositions. The largest difference is in the drainage of our top layer of soil which enables us to vary our fruit selection depending on the growing season.
Alluvial and were deposited by ocean water millions of years ago
Contains three layers: clay, silt with cobbles, and pure sand
Extremely fertile and permeable

Soil Cross Section
