MAGNUM 2018 Gran Reserva Malbec
Our fruit passed trough two hand-sorting tables fIrst as whole clusters and then as single berries
after destemming. Following a 6 day cold maceration to extract primary aromas, fermentation took place in a combination of first use French oak barrels (75%) and stainless steel tanks (25%). After fermentation the wine was pressed and racked into French oak barrels.
Deep ruby red color with purple hues. Brooding aroma with plum and black cherries integrated
with violet scents. Mouthfeel shows a velvety texture and boldness. This was an excellent growing season that produced an elegant vintage which has great aging potential.
