2013 Gran Reserva Malbec
Awards: Wine Enthusiast, Editor’s Choice 94 pts
This is potentially our favorite vintage. A wave of cool, dry weather hit Uco Valley late in the growing season, which prolonged the ripening process and helped us produce excellent fruit at harvest. Aged for 6 ½ years prior to release, our 2013 vintage has full-bodied structure, chewy tannins, and classic Malbec taste that put it in a league of its own. We’ve recently begun detecting an interesting Ripasso note on the nose! Cellar worthy.
